1. Installation Procedures and Precautions for Capsule-Type Oil Storage Tanks. First, remove the capsule and check for any damage or air leaks; clean the inside of the oil storage tank thoroughly. Install the oil level gauge, ensuring that the gasket in the base is properly placed before tightening the securing nuts; then install the cabinet feet. During installation, pay attention to the following points.
Lift the oil storage tank onto the supporting frame and secure it; Install the butterfly valve, manifold (or bellows), and gas relay on the main pipeline of the oil storage tank;
Oil storage tanks are divided into two main types: open type and sealed type. Sealed types can be further categorized into rubber bladder or rubber diaphragm sealed types and metal bellows sealed types.
The oil conservator is a cylindrical container placed horizontally above the oil tank and connected by a pipe to the transformer. When the transformer oil expands due to heating, the oil flows from the oil tank to the conservator; when the transformer oil contracts due to cooling, the oil flows from the conservator back to the oil tank. The air above the oil level in the conservator communicates with the outside atmosphere through a vent pipe. A desiccant is placed in the vent pipe to reduce the moisture entering the conservator from the air.
